Flawless Faces: It Starts with Your Skin
The beauty series, flawless faces will feature a beauty tip or set of beauty tips each week to help keep you looking and feeling your best. Confidence is queen and I want you to take the throne!
Lets start with your skin. Since that is what you will be covering and contouring and highlighting, it is important to make sure that it looks its best.
First, water it. Thats right, drink plenty of water to keep yourself glowing. It promotes overall good health so you should be drinking lots of it every day anyway, but for flawless skin it is extra important. Don't fret if you find yourself breaking out a little bit-your body is flushing out those toxins and bad stuff so you can have healthy radiant skin.
Now that you are drinking water, don't forget to wash it. I suggest an every other day regimen, but for some people it is routine to scrub their face every day. If you are a daily person, make sure your facial cleanser is pretty mild. You can do more harm than good with harsh cleansing products on a regular basis! My favorite product is Apricot facial scrub by Swiss I have been using them for years-quiet literally almost 15 of them!
It is important to use a moisturizer if you have dry skin or are using harsher face washes. Due to my Grand-mère's use of Pond's cold creme, and her ever young looking face (she's in her 70s now, but looks in her 50s,) I also use it.
If you are doing all thoose, make sure you sleep on it. Sleep is important for many super obvious reasons, but your skin is rejuvenated while you sleep and it needs you to rest, so get in those 7 or 8 hours as often as you can. Beauty rest is real folks-it's every time you are sleeping!
The last flawless face skin tip I have for you is to protect it! Sunscreen and protect your skin whenever you can. I know how nice it is to bake in the sun for that perfect tan, and i still get my 20 mins of vitamin D via sunlight in when i can, but it also causes you to wrinkle-not to forget the whole cancer issue! Don't stay out too long and protect yourself.
